There will be a conference to mark the centenary of Isaiah Berlin's
birth at Harvard on the 25th and 26th of September, 2009. Speakers
will include: Malachi Hacohen, Janos Kis, Pratap Mehta, Martha
Nussbaum, Alan Ryan, Amartya Sen, Michael Walzer, Bernard Yack;
discussants include Peter Eli Gordon, Erin Kelly, T.M. Scanlon.
The conference is free and open to the public; it will be held in the Tsai Auditorium, Harvard Center for Government and International Studies, 1730 Cambridge St; it is being organized by the Harvard Department of Government, in Cooperation with the Safra Center for Ethics, the Harvard Center for Judaic Studies, and the Harvard Department of Philosophy.
