Salary Grade 9: £37,651 - £43,622 per annum
(with progression to £46,278 subject to satisfying specified competence requirements)

The Department is seeking to appoint a candidate who can contribute to the strong teaching and research reputation of the Philosophy group, which is broadly based, and has particular strengths in the European tradition and contemporary European Philosophy.

Applicants will have a doctorate in a relevant area, and a record of publication of original research. They will need in the first instance to be able to contribute to teaching on existing units, and also to design and develop units to complement the current undergraduate and postgraduate provision.
