Lectureship or Senior Lectureship in Qualitative Research MethodsMethodology InstituteLecturer: £40,123 to £46,477 pa incl Senior Lecturer: £47,166 to £55,446 pa incl The core mission of the Methodology Institute is to provide first-class methodological training to graduate students and to be a centre of excellence in the discipline. You will have the opportunity to develop an association with an academic department in the School that shares your research or disciplinary interests. You will be active in carrying out research, and will teach and supervise at postgraduate level and in addition carry out administrative and pastoral duties. You will be able to demonstrate achievement and research potential in any area of the social sciences; in particular in combination with Qualitative Methodology of Social Research. You will also have a completed PhD in a relevant subject by 1 August 2009. An appointment to the above post will be made at either the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, but it is our preference to appoint at Senior Lecturer level.
