Other qualifications may be considered only exceptionally. If your undergraduate degree will not be awarded by 31 July, then you will not be eligible to apply in this year's competition. Please see the Guide for Applicants for further details of academic eligibility. How to apply: Initially candidates should submit an application to a postgraduate programme at the University of Manchester, using the standard graduate application form. For details on applying to Manchester, see http://www.manchester.ac.uk/postgraduate/howtoapply/. Candidates should also complete a University of Manchester AHRC application form. Whilst these are available to download now, please do not put in your Manchester AHRC application until the AHRC announce the outcome of our BGP bid (w/c 23rd February 2008). If you are interested in applying for an AHRC studentship, you are strongly advised to contact the relevant School Postgraduate Office and make your application for admission onto a programme as soon as possible. You may do this prior to submitting the AHRC application forms to speed up the process. For more details on eligible subject areas/courses, residency eligibility criteria and academic eligibility criteria, and on how to apply for an AHRC studentship at Manchester, see the notes of guidance on the University's website: http://www.humanities.manchester.ac.uk/postgraduate/ahrc/ Application forms: Note on Documents Before submitting an application, you must read the Guide for Applicants. Note: As part of the application procedure, candidates must supply references. These can be the same references as those submitted for as part of the postgraduate application form as long as they are full-length. We require 5 copies of your references submitted in a sealed envelope along with the AHRC application form. Click here for Employer Profile
