A six-week National Endowment for the Humanities Seminar concerned
with metaphysical issues in the philosophy of mind led by John Heil.
Visiting faculty: Jaegwon Kim, E. J. Lowe, and Phil Dowe.
Fifteen participants will be chosen from among eligible applicants.
Seminar sessions and reading groups will be devoted to fundamental
metaphysical themes of particular interest to philosophers of mind,
including the nature of properties and relations, causality, laws of
nature, powers, and qualities.
Seminar stipend: $4,400.
