Lecturer in SustainabilityFaculty of Environment, School of Earth and Environment, Sustainability Research Institute (SRI)We are looking to strengthen and expand our research and teaching capability in the areas related to sustainable production (including business and corporate responsibility), sustainable consumption and/or sustainable communities. Applications from candidates that focus on the inter-linkages between these areas are particularly welcome. SRI is now one of the largest concentrations of environmental social scientists in the UK, situated in one of the strongest Schools of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Research within the SRI draws on disciplines which span the environmental social sciences, and combine social and natural sciences in leading-edge, interdisciplinary research. As well as being a centre of excellence for sustainability research, the SRI is home to around 30 research students, and runs a range of postgraduate and undergraduate programmes on the different dimensions of sustainability. We are encouraging both established and early career researchers to apply, including those who hold or be close to obtaining a PhD in a social science discipline.
