A PhD Degree in Gender and Development Studies/Gender Studies is required. The applicant must have a postgraduate degree in Gender and Development Studies or Feminist Studies and a strong record of research publications. The successful applicant will be required to teach at least four of the following semester courses: • Introduction to Women Studies in the Caribbean: Feminist Theoretical Perspectives For Postgraduate teaching the successful applicant must be able to teach Feminist Epistemologies and Feminist Methodologies, and Advanced Feminist Theories. Teaching experience in Gender and Development Studies in the Caribbean is highly desirable. Experience in the coordination and teaching of a certificate program in Gender and Development would be an asset. The successful applicant will be expected to assume duties by 1 August 2009, or as soon as possible thereafter.
