The University of Prince Edward Island

The University of Prince Edward Island is the leading institution of higher education on the Island and one of the premier academic institutions in the Canadian Maritimes. The conference will be held in McDougall Hall, the most recent, state of the art addition to the UPEI campus.

The Department of Psychology at UPEI is one of the few undergraduate departments in North America to emphasize quantitative and qualitative approaches to psychology and to have a portion of its curriculum devoted to critical and historical perspectives. Scholars within our department integrate a critical perspective into a variety of exciting courses including The Emergence of Modern Psychology, Ecopsychology, Gender and Sexuality, Media, Sex, and Power, Critical Issues for Contemporary Psychology, and Social Justice in Psychology.
