The German Philosophy Reading Group at the IGRS, which started last
year, will reconvene in the coming academic year. The seminars are open
to philosophers and germanists, both students and staff. The reading
group offers an opportunity for close reading and discussion of a
selection of seminal texts in the history of German thought in their
original form and - where relevant - to practice German philosophy
reading skills.
The title for this year will be: 'Understanding Being: Hegel's Science
of Logic and Philosophical Storytelling from Hebel to Adorno'.
