Our School of Psychology is one of the largest and most diverse academic schools of psychology in the U.K. and has an excellent record in undergraduate and postgraduate professional training in both psychology and associated areas such as counselling, coaching and guidance. We have thriving research groups in Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, Health and Social Psychology, Critical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Applied and Professional Psychology, Learning and Teaching and rapidly expanding knowledge transfer and consultancy activities. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed colleague to join our Psychology Field Team. We have a particular need for someone to lead our skills and employability curriculum, developing students’ subject-specific and generic skills across our undergraduate programmes, to contribute to specialist teaching in this area and to improve our focus on employability. You will have a first degree in Psychology and a completed (or very nearly completed) PhD. As well as contributing to our teaching and administrative activities you will be expected to undertake high level research and knowledge exchange activities.
