Call for applications: Position in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law Program
The University of Richmond invites applications for a tenured position
at the associate or full level to contribute both to the further
development of a newly founded undergraduate program in Philosophy,
Politics, Economics, and Law (PPEL) and to the regular curriculum in
Philosophy. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding teacher and
distinguished political philosopher. Areas of specialization and
competence should cover the theory of democratic institutions, rights,
economic distribution, justice and legal theory. Teaching
responsibilities will be divided between required courses and advanced
electives within the PPEL Program and courses in the Philosophy
department, to which the candidate will be jointly appointed.
