*Thursday 2 and Friday 3 July 2009*, University of Manchester
Call for papers
We are pleased to announce our fourth annual graduate conference.
Following on from the success of Open Minds I, II, and III, the
conference is intended to provide a supportive and stimulating
environment for postgraduate students and those recently awarded their
PhD to share and discuss their work.
The conference will take place on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 July 2009 at
the University of Manchester. Our keynote speaker will be Professor
Robin LePoidevin (University of Leeds).
We welcome papers from *all* areas of philosophical research.
Please submit papers of a length suitable for presentation in twenty
minutes to openminds@manchester.ac.uk, with subject line 'Submission'.
Please submit your paper in a form suitable for blind review. Include
a separate cover page giving the title of the paper and your contact
details. At the start of the paper itself, please provide an abstract,
200 to 500 words in length.
The deadline for receipt of submissions is 14 April 2009. We aim to
notify successful applicants by the end of April 2009.
Any enquiries can be sent to: openminds@manchester.ac.uk.
We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Mind Association.
