PRELIMINARY NOTICE: 2009 CONFERENCE
 
 
The Annual Conference of the Australasian Association for Philosophy (New Zealand Division) will be held at Massey University’s Turitea Campus in Palmerston North, New Zealand, from Monday 7 December to Thursday 10 December, 2009.
 
PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME
Registration:  Monday afternoon
Presidential Address:  Monday evening
Papers and Symposia:  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, morning & afternoon
Conference Dinner and Party:  Thursday evening
 
Papers on any area of philosophy will be welcome. If anyone based in New Zealand or Australia is interested in arranging a stream of papers on a particular area of philosophy, please contact the conference organiser, Bill Fish, at w.j.fish@massey.ac.nz
 
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation will be available in a student residence on campus for approximately NZ $60 per night, bed and breakfast.  A range of motel, hotel and backpacker accommodation is also available within bus or walking distance of the university campus.
 
TRAVEL
Palmerston North is approximately 140 km north of Wellington in the South of New Zealand’s North Island. Palmerston North International Airport, only 10 minutes drive from the city centre, has connections to all major cities within New Zealand as well as to ports in Australia.
