Broad subject areas include: families, sexual and gender identities; international development, including urban development and policy; migration, race and diasporas; criminology and addiction studies.

You will need at least a good 2.1 in a relevant subject and a master's degree relevant to your proposed field of study, preferably from an ESRC-recognized course. You will also need to have been resident in the UK for the past three years (if you are not an EU national this must not have been for full-time study).
