University of NottinghamPostgraduate Studentships: MA, MSc, MRes & PhD(Archaeology, Art History, Classics, Music, Philosophy or Theology and Religious Studies) AHRC studentships (subject to the outcome of the University's bid to the AHRC under the Block Grant scheme) and School Studentships are available for research study in the Departments of Archaeology, Art History, Classics, Music, Philosophy, and Theology and Religious Studies. The studentships, available to UK/EU students first registering to undertake a research degree in September 2009 in the above departments, cover the payment of tuition fees and a maintenance grant each year for a maximum of three years of full-time doctoral study (subject to evidence of satisfactory progress) and one year of full-time MA/MSc/MRes study. The maintenance grant will be in line with national levels set by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). Closing date: 2 April 2009 (although there are several earlier deadlines to be met by applicants).
