The next Toward a Science of Consciousness conference will be held in
Hong Kong on June 11-14, 2009. The theme is
Investigating Inner Experience: Brain, Mind, Technology.

The conference will include preconference workshops, keynote and
plenary talks, plenary panels, concurrent talks, posters, technology exhibits,
film screenings, art shows, music and other special performances.

Toward a Science of Consciousness - Hong Kong, June 11-14, 2009
is part of the greater Asia Consciousness Festival taking place at Hong Kong
Polytechnic University in June. The festival is a series of conferences,
workshops, performances, and exhibitions over the course of a month to raise
awareness of consciousness trends in Hong Kong and Asia. The events will bring
together consciousness leaders spanning neurosciences, psychology, philosophy,
cognitive sciences, entertainment media, education, and spirituality, as well
as community members at large interested keenly in bigger questions and quality
of life.
Pre-Conference Workshops will be held on June 10th. If you are interested in
presenting a workshop, proposals should be submitted by February 15th, (email
proposals to alex.parkes@polyu.edu.hk).

traditionally served as a bridge between east and west as well as a lifestyle
trendsetter for Greater China. Our goal is to make a regional and international
impact in the study of consciousness.
