ESRC StudentshipFaculty of Social ScienceFull-time Fully Funded ESRC Research Studentship in Sociology Sociology Department, Faculty of Social Sciences Based in Milton Keynes, Ref: RDKF Starting October 2009 The Department of Sociology wishes to recruit a student of the highest calibre for a full-time and fully-funded ESRC 1 + 3 research studentship. Applications are particularly welcome from students who wish to pursue research in any of the following broadly-defined areas: Culture and Economy; Media and Popular Culture; Technology, Communication and Internet Studies; Multiculturalism and Difference; Personal Relationships, Emotions and Intimacy; Psycho-Social Studies. You should have at least 2:1 for your first degree or equivalent. If successful you will initially be registered for the Year 1 Masters in Research Methods (M.Res) and satisfactory completion of that year will lead to registration for three years' PhD study.
